Eye Department:

Trisha netralay (a unit of R.B.M.Hospital) was established on the 27th of May 2000. Its outdoor is well equipped with an ophthalmic chair unit, autorefractometer, slit lamp, Nd; yag laser, A- scan (Biomedix), B- scan (Siemens), keratometer, indirect ophthalmoscope etc. The indoor comprises of a 15 bedded general ward (Separate male and female wards) and 3 well furnished special rooms. We have a separate Eye O.T. with operating microscope, a phacoemulcification unit (Galaxy) and other instruments to perform anterior segment eye surgeries.
                              Apart form the routine pay clinic we have an especially active charitable wing. Routine low paying rural outreach eye clinics are organized all along the year where we select cataract patients and perform free IOL implantation surgery at the base hospital with the help of the District blindness control society. We also perform free surgery camps with financial aid from some local donors and organization like the Rotary club of Darbhanga.
